Spots and Bumps

Brown or gray discolorations (chloasma, melasma, solar lentigenes, liver spots, age spots) are the visible signs of increased melanin production; they may result from environmental or hormonal exposure. They may be superficial or deep, and treatment approaches will vary accordingly. For example, Wendy may treat discolorations in the upper layer of skin with topical medication; laser therapy may be helpful for deeper pigments.

Red spots are usually tiny broken capillaries in the skin; these can be eliminated with laser treatment. Skin tags (those stalklike growths) can be removed permanently by electrocautery. Scars that have formed depressions or raised bumps can be treated also.

Uneven skin pigmentation can be treated as well. Wendy can even soften or erase dark circles under the eyes, whether they form tired-looking puffy bags or complete raccoon masks.
