Wendy is fortunate to have the medical oversight, backup, and expertise of plastic surgeon Barry Press, M.D. Co-located in the same office on Samaritan Drive, the two practitioners work closely together, providing consultation, collaboration, and services for their patients as appropriate.

Dr. Press decided to become a plastic surgeon during his general surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. He developed an interest in the possibility of transplanting composite tissues for reconstruction of defects left by injuries or tumors. Using the then-revolutionary anti-rejection agent Cyclosporine-A, he spent two years in laboratory research. He applied for a residency position at New York University's world-famous Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and began his plastic surgery training there in 1985.

Dr. Press has a unique, patient-focused approach to plastic surgery. He strives to provide patients with safe, natural, effective facial rejuvenation that is less invasive and requires a shorter recovery time than traditional surgical procedures. He presents each patient with a clear, thorough description of the procedure best suited for the desired outcome. In most cases, the patient has more than one option. Dr. Press provides the information and council the patient needs to make an informed decision.
